Gold Ampersand

Gold leaf on a black board. Started with sketches, I wanted to go with a classic swoopy ampersand that felt really modern. I ended up with a very contrasted, curvy design that was perfect for the black and gold I had prepped for it. Then I adhered the gold with some size that I painted on and finished up with some engine turning to give it a little oomph.
